640px in width X 640px in height, larger footage will be cropped to fit this size.

Your video can be 3 to 15 seconds long.

Here is an example I produced using 4:3, this worked will in Instagram since I kept the text away from the side borders.

Your Right To Free Speech On Facebook May Change Very Soon. READ:

How many times have you come across a post while scrolling through Facebook that seems to be a little less than friendly?

For example; "David better walk on the other side of the road when I see him again." These types of posts can get you the wrong kind of attention, especially due to a specific Supreme Court case involving threatening posts on Facebook directly...

Enter Anthony Elonis. A man who separated with his wife in 2010. Not long after the separation, Elonis began making continuing threats against this woman both subtly and directly to her. He then also began making threats to his coworkers. Needless to say, Mr. Elonis lost his job over it. Things only seemed to get worse for Elonis from that point as he began threatening the FBI agents who started to question him about the posts. Not long after the threats came to the FBI agents, did Elonis get arrested. After he was tried in court, he was convicted and found guilty by the jury for his threats.

Elonis plead that these threats were just jokes and "rap lyrics". Well now, this case has seen its way to the Supreme Court. No matter what the Supreme Court decides to do, it could change the way that all of our social media platforms perform & state their policies. See more here.

The police could easily become a bigger part of these "empty threats". Now some may think that this is more of an invasion of our privacy if this happens. The simple fact is that our social media apps and sites are trying to cover themselves regarding their legal liabilities involving statements posted on their platforms.

Honestly, I can't really blame them for thinking this way, as most of the services we use allow us free access to their services. Facebook, clearly being the most popular, has a bit more to worry about I would think as this particular social media service is where the case originated.

How would you feel if you knew that Facebook was going to alter their policies so that any time a post could be considered threatening, the police were allowed to intervene in some way shape or form? Now how would you feel if you were the one being threatened? Finally how do you think you'd feel if you were the one making the "threatening" posts?

One thing is for certain, this Elonis character made a HUGE mistake when he started making the threats towards the FBI. This man's questionable decisions could alter the way we post our opinions and thoughts on social media now and challenge our sense of free speech. I'd like to continue putting my opinion and thoughts on my Facebook page, personally. Threats will always be there. Cyber bullying will always be there. The trick is figuring out if there is anything to worry about or not. Most of the time, you can figure it out pretty quickly, and deal with it accordingly.

We can either be censored here, on social media, and be force to find/make another venue where we can speak freely about anything and everything, or we can just keep quiet and let this happen. And, honestly? I'm not too sure which are the lesser of the two evils.

How I Ended Up Recording My First Corporate Jingle

Rentacomputer Jingle ProducerI have been a professional music producer for many years now. I have also been in a professional touring band for about four years. Through all of my time spent on tour and in different business situations, I have met a lot of great people and made some really fantastic connections.

One day a few months back, I decided to start a new musical endeavor. I wanted to step back from playing metal for a little bit and get back in touch with my roots. I started a pop/rock (see pop/punk) band with my friend Michael Luciano and we called it Suppy Dudes. I've known Mike for years, and he is actually the vocalist of the metal band that I am in, so I knew it would be a good endeavor from the very beginning.

Around the same time this new band started becoming a real thing, John Beagle the President of a local Computer and Audio Visual Rental company, reached out and asked me about doing a little work for him, He and his son ad heard about all of the songwriting and production work that I had been doing over the years and they wanted to see what I could do when it came to making a jingle for their company. I'd never done anything like that before, so I was a little apprehensive about it, but I took the job anyway. Shortly after that same night, Mike and I decided we would go ahead and get to work on the jingle. Nerves and excitement probably made the recording process quicker, easier and even more fun.

 Mike The Vocalist

We had just confirmed the formation of the band known only as Suppy Dudes, so we thought we might as well make the Rentacomputer.com jingle our first gig. We went into the recording studio, and we just recorded the first thing that came to our minds..

I wish there were more to the story, but there isn't. We just hit record and thought we would see what happened! Honestly, we didn't know it would turn out to be such a catchy tune. But now we hear stories about the Rentacomputer.com employees walking around the office whistling, humming or even singing the jingle that we created mostly all in one night with a little direction from John and his son. I guess we outdid ourselves a little bit. But I'm sure that's why we're in talks to continue doing jingles for the company.

Now the company uses the song in a lot of their new commercials and ads; as a producer, I couldn't be happier about how it turned out for everyone involved. It was a really enjoyable, a good way to launch a brand new band, and the bond made between us and the company is something that will last a very long time. I can't wait to work with everyone at www.Rentacomputer.com on many new creative projects in the future, as I've met a few of them briefly and it seems like a good working, learning environment and quite the interesting experience.
